You MUST read all of this before making a Ceoflaz of your own!
It'd be awesome if you would post a picture of your character or its information to my page when you make it.

About the Ceoflaz:

:bulletblue:Their fur is feather-like and appears to be streamlined to their body, but in actuality would be puffy to the touch.
:bulletblue:Forelegs have hands with three fingers. Two fingers on top and one "thumb" underneath. It folds backwards so when the Ceoflaz makes a fist, the thumb protrudes upwards like a sword.
:bulletblue:These fingers each end with a long, straight, spear-like claw.
:bulletblue:They have no eyes. Because of this, the head has a simple, oval shape.
:bulletblue:They don't have lips, but more like a beak of sharp interlocking "teeth". The real teeth are small and backwards-facing inside the mouth.
:bulletblue:They have a black or pink tongue.
:bulletblue:Their nostrils are at the tip of their muzzle, and can close up to keep water out.
:bulletblue:Their ears are at the back of their heads with a smal skin flap to keep water out.
:bulletblue:They have long legs and a lean/muscular look to the body.
:bulletblue:Their back legs are bowed slightly so they can stand on them solely for short periods of time.
:bulletblue:The tail ends with five "fingers" connected by translucent webbing. These can fold up.
:bulletblue:On average, the creatures at full height are around five feet tall. (About 152 cm)
:bulletblue:They have a pair of thermoreceptors, one on each side of the neck.
:bulletblue:Elongated pieces of fur that look like feathers are optional on the sides of the head. They would be larger/more colorful in males.
:bulletblue:Barrel chest and curved back make it similar to a Greyhound in body shape.
:bulletblue:The back feet have three large claws where the middle is larger than the others and a dew claw.
:bulletblue:There is very little difference between male and female of the species.
:bulletblue:The neck is broad to hold up their bulky head.

:bulletgreen:They are mammals.
:bulletgreen:They are carnivores.
:bulletgreen:They live 20-25 years on average. (Think about their age as if approximately four years for them equals approximately ten years for us)
:bulletgreen:The average gestation period is five months long. That is approximately 140 days.
:bulletgreen:Four to a litter at most.
:bulletgreen:Noises other than their echolocation clicks include a variety of growls, hisses, rumbles, grumbles, low roars and high screeches.

:bulletpurple:Their fur can come in any pattern you can think of that happens naturally in real life with any color you can think of that occurs naturally in real life. Please, no "sparkle" versions of the Ceoflaz. However, the feathers on the sides of the head may be more brightly colored.
:bulletpurple:Their tongue can make clicking noises that they use for echolocation. Most of these clicks are inaudible to other creatures.
:bulletpurple:Their "mouth" is very similar to a bird's beak. The fur ends and continues to just skin. Gradually, the skin hardens until the "teeth" are a hard, opalescent bone.
:bulletpurple:While they are well equipped as an aquatic species, they spend most of their time on land but live by water.
:bulletpurple:They live in climates where it is warm almost year-round.
:bulletpurple:Their diet consists greatly of fish which they catch with their foreclaws but land animals are another easy target.

:bulletyellow:While their prong-like claws would make devastating weapons, they don't use them much or at all in fights. They're mainly for fishing. Their main weapon is their mouth. An older individual tends to have scarring around their mouth.
:bulletyellow:They do fight, but for the most part it's minor skirmishes.
:bulletyellow:Females fight just as often as a male would.
:bulletyellow:Mates will stay with each other for life, and offspring can stay or go. If they stay, they are allowed to breed within the little group, so sometimes "Clans" can be found.

Predators include
:bulletblack:Crocodiles and Caiman
:bulletblack:Maned Wolves and other wolves (Only dangerous when in a pack)
:bulletblack:Tigers (If the Ceoflaz lives in Asia)
:bulletblack:Panthers, Jaguars, Leopards. (If in jungle areas)
:bulletblack:Anacondas and other large/venemous snakes.
:bulletblack:Bears such as Sun Bears (If in south america)
:bulletblack:Various types of eagles.

If you have opinions, things are still up for being added, but not changed. I highly encourage new opinions because I know there are still things missing.
